Olive x Safari #summervibes

Olive x Safari x #SummerVibes

My biggest love for #summervibes is the fact that I can literally throw some stuff on and somehow look like I put effort into it. It's no secret to most that most of my closet is covered in black, olive, or some random prints. In any other season, I can't just throw stuff together because I tend to look cluttered (especially because I'm short).

My issue is that I own a ton of pants and jackets, but I don't own a ton of t-shirts. My girlfriend owns so many cute t-shirts with perfect patterns and cool designs. I want to be more like her. But, until I grow my t-shirt collection to be more up to par with my girlfriend, I will settle for excessive amounts of jackets and pants... and sunglasses... and shorts.

What I wore:

I dressed up this thrown together t-shirt (from a random shop in Kauai, Hawaii), Forever 21 safari print shorts, simplistic sandals, and American Rag olive cargo vest look with a curly do (I twisted my hair that day because I was having a serious bad hair day) and threw a bow on top. I am a firm believer in looking a bit more thrown together by just topping it off with a bow. This isn't always the case, though. I have to remember to dial it down a bit with my bows sometimes. #adulting

Can we talk about the accessory of Starbucks here? This originally had no purpose in the shoot, but I felt the need to be pretty #basic that day, and grabbed myself a Cafe Vanilla Frappucino. I normally avoid Frapps because I am a die hard black coffee (or skinny vanilla latte lover), but that day there was a definite exception.

I took the simplistic route and paired an Alex&Ani love token bracelet and my black Apple Watch and a pair of rose gold aviator sunglasses that I bought from a street store in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Happy End of Summer, y'all!
