Quick Concert OOTN

I live a pretty busy life. Balancing flying, grad school, personal life, and attempting to sleep doesn't always leave me time to run to the mall and grab something to wear for a last minute show. My solution for this time crunch? Just throwing together something quick and giving it simple accessories to make it pop as much as it can. Here's my quick look for the Maxwell concert the other night!

*Huge Disclaimer: I am NO fashionista. I have never craved the fast life of fashion industry. However, I do love to shop, and I do love owning clothes. I've just been more of a buy something and dress it up the Taylor way.*

So, here's what I wore to the concert:

Horrible iPhone quality picture---I just always forget to take my picture with my real camera once I leave the house

So, that's actually not what I ended up wearing. As soon as I learned the concert was outside, I threw some pants on over that romper, switched my shoes out, and went with it.

I changed it up just a tad.

The romper was actually from Forever 21, and so were the pants. I try to avoid mixing too many things from Forever 21 because it's not my go to store, but tonight it just so happened that both of these random things that I grabbed from my closet happened to be from there. A big thing about me is that I like to shop at local, smaller boutiques just because I don't have a set style. Forever 21 always seems to have a certain look going in each part of the store, and that's totally awesome and fine on their end. I just march to a different drum...

Since I wanted to go for a more simplistic look, I decided to throw on my nude Steve Madden two piece sandals. I bought these from Macy's some time ago for $89

At the start of this day, I had nude nails. For some odd reason, I decided to go with purple. I own a ton of purple nail polishes but I never wear them. I am still trying to remember my logic behind this decision, but it worked.

My closet basically consists of black, black, lighter black, black, a sparkle of gold, and black. I decided to throw on some simple gold studs for the night. These were $20 from Francesca's boutique two summers ago.

I decided to not be a little tomboy for the night, and I switched from my Apple Watch with a really simple black sports band to a tortoise shell, Michael Kors watch. I received this watch as a gift two years ago, and it is usually my go to because it is so small and simple.

These adorable bracelets were actually graduation themed bracelets I found at a little boutique in Frankenmuth, MI for $15 each. The gold on both bracelets are actually supposed to be tassels. I love these.

Remember when I said I own too much black clothing in my closet? Well, the other part of my closet is colorful. That part of my closet is my purse and scarf area. So, to combat the whole black look that I had going for the evening, I threw in my Turquoise Kate Spade Satchel. It looks more like a baby blue in person.

And, of course, I rocked my new favorite Richmond&Finch White Marble phone case!
