My Richmond&Finch Carrara Marble White Phone Case (Review!)

(Carrara) Marble White Phone Case by Richmond&Finch

I've patiently waited a whole week to write this post! Anyone that really knows me, knows that I don't keep the same phone case on my phone more than probably two days in a row. And, if we're being honest, two days is kind of a lot. I had to wait a week to write this post because I needed to see if I could actually wear the same phone case for a whole week. Guess what? I DID! Not only that, but as I write this post, the case is still on my phone. I am so proud of myself.
....I've always had an either all in in or all out personality. So, with me, I guess I could kind of say I have like a mini addictive personality to certain things. For me, those certain things are writing pens, makeup and makeup brushes, and.... you guessed it: phone cases. I just love owning a lot of phone cases. Right now, I probably own a little over 100 phone cases. Of course I'm not buying all of these at once. Over time, I have just accumulated this large amount. What's even more funny is the fact that I've given so many away to friends and family members (and I try to force my girlfriend to take some with her when she has to leave).
I say all of this to say: Richmond&Finch White Marble phone case is the best case ever. That's all, y'all. Bye. Thanks for reading ;)

Ok, of course I have to more to say.

I learned about this case because another phone case company mentioned R&F on their IG. I decided to follow them, because..... obsession. I am obsessed with cases, as you should know by now. After following their IG page, I fell in love. I kept seeing elegant cases, with the signature gold bar with their name at the bottom of each case. I knew I was sold when I saw the white marble case. I was hesitant because I have had some unlucky moments in the past with attempting to order online from other countries. But I knew I was going to break down and buy it eventually. Well, that eventually came in an even luckier coincidence: While I was out wondering around Amsterdam with friends. We stumbled into a store called Drake's Luxury Boutique *it'll be linked below*. This place was freaking adorable! They sell "sexy luxury and modern lifestyle fashion" (from their site) and flashy stuff throughout the store. Well, we decided to go in and see what the store was about. Not even two minutes in and I see the beautiful thing: the white marble case! I knew it was fate. The rest is history (obvious history: This post is about the case lol)

Notice that I have the R&F website up in the background

My initial fear with this case was that it would be really slippery and would easily fall from my grip often, especially on the airplane. The case advertises itself to be impact absorbent, to have custom-cut camera lense and flash holes, and have a glossy finish. It proved to be the all of those things. It is not slippery at all and I am able to maintain a firm grip on it throughout the day. Although it is marble, there is a gloss look and feel about it, but there seems to be another layer that adds a little stickiness to it, ensuring a firm grip at all times. So my grade for the feel and grip-ability would be a B+. I honestly love how my phone case now matches my macbook case, and I feel so cute in public and at work holding my phone. Seriously, I feel so official with this case now.

{Report Card Review}

Look and Aesthetics: A+
This alone gives it an A+ in my book. The phone case itself has an extremely elegant and simplistic, sophisticated look to it. What attracted me to the R&F brand is the simple, gold bar at the bottom of each phone case-regardless of the design or style of the case. The gold bar is extremely appealing to the eye. It literally matches everything.

Grip Ability and Hold: B+
B+ I say B+ because even though I did mention that although this case isn't slippery, it still does attempt to slide out of my hand. This case is one of those cases that only covers the back and sides of the phone, and although it isn't slick like most cases with this type of build are, there have still been a couple times that I have moved too quickly while getting into my car with it, and it gets flung towards the door. I am not sure if this is the case or a user goofy error, so, to be safe, B+

Durability: B

As I said earlier, I've only had the case for about a week now. The only wear I've seen on it so far (and I live a pretty active life due to my workplace, so that could be a factor) is slight fading of the case in the front, at the corners of the phone. I believe this is due to it constantly going in and out of my uniform pockets, as well as my purse. I also just kind of throw my phone into the cup holder when I get into my car.

Phone Protection: A

I'm the Queen of dropping my phone while standing still. So far, I've dropped my phone at least four times a day with this case on it. My phone hasn't suffered any damage to it while being dropped in this case, so I think I'm good! *knocks on wood*

Average Review  Grade: A-

Overall, I think I am in love with this phone case. I have made it to the end of this post and I still haven't taken the case off. I honestly think it'll stay on my phone another week!
Thanks, Richmond&Finch for making such awesome phone cases!

  5. Today almost everyone owns how to protect your phone without a case and since they're really expensive people would naturally want to take care of them. In addition to protecting them with anti-scratch sheets, you would also go the extra mile to buy a good mobile phone cover to further protect your phone from damages. However, picking a phone case is not an easy job as you need to make sure that you're buying one that would truly help you out.
